This is a 5 part series covering a creature design from the thumbnail stages to the full color final.
This serious is an online "Follow Along" platform - it covers everything from the various stages and development of the design to how an art director may act at certain stages. This will hopefully provide a longer, more in depth and detailed creature design series than anything I've done before. It covers everything from thumbnails to more refined designs and exploration - then taking a selected thumbnail and bringing it to a finalized color exploration sheet. Notes/thoughts/ideas and reasons behind what I'm doing.
